Sergei, while going hunting was shot by a lion, grasping for air. Instead of dying, he managed to escape and soon the lion’s blood was infused in his wounds which amplified Sergei’s abilities to an extent humanity had never witnessed before.

Having come to terms with the rough way his father treated him, Sergei grabs the chance he gets to defend nature by targeting those who destroy it in a bid to use his powers for a good cause. However, it is the moral higher ground Sergei tries to maintain which is bound to clash with his brother, Dmitri Smerdyakov, A.k.a The Chameleon (Fred Hechinger) who practices deceit for a living but with bad intentions.
