Synopsis
The plot revolves around Bongekile (Duduzile Ngcobo), a headstrong mother of three, who aims to find wives for her three adult sons; these three adult sons are Sandile (Lunga Shabalala), Menzi (Sparky Xulu), and Sky (Ray Neo Buso). To motivate them, she offers the family home to the first married son before New Year. This incentivizes her sons to begin narrow down brides to be married before New Years. He gives her a call if friendship can lead to anything romantic, and the two adult musicians rekindle their childhood friendship. Menzi is caught between the rigid expectations of practical life, which causes tension in their lives, and Menzi is one of the two who has gone through this. The third one is Sky, whose family has speculated that he is a transgender woman and who has a boutique, spends most of his time trying to convince them otherwise, which brings a lot of self realization and light humor to the story.
