The film “Hazard” (which is sometimes stylized as “H4Z4RD”) was first released in 2022 and is a Belgian movie directed by Jonas Govaerts. The movie has an exciting plot where it focuses on Noah Hazard who has a tight bond with both his team, his daughter, and his car. The action intensifies when Noah gets into a risky driving job where he has to deter from a race endangering his life, family, and losing his car.
Synopsis
Noah Hazard is the type of man who is obsessed with cars – he goes throughout his day thinking about his wife, Lea, their small baby Zita, and the car that he owns. Due to some personal reasons thankfully his recently freed cousin Carlos, who has been in prison, manages to offer Noah a driving job. Carlos considers this job easy which makes Noah agree to it since he is having financial trouble. He was instructed to help Carlos rob a bank and then act as the car driver for Carlos during their escape.
Unfortunately the plan does not end up going according to plan because as they steal from Kludde by mistake, who happens to be a crime boss. Zita, who is late for class, gets kidnapped by Kludde’s men, and as a result, Noah, who will do anything for his daughter, gets into a tight schedule. Noah seeks out the slums with the help of Lea, and with only one point of focus, their baby, to get to a different country they have to attack and get rid of a multitude of workers, police, Frenzies, and even specialists that were cancerous. As Noah tries to protect his family and get his life back, this quest pushes Noah’s courage and innovative resolve.

It is rather unfortunate that the film is not packed with scenes typical of Belgian cinema, such as artistic liberty. Some reviewers contend that it is simply another unoriginal work within Belgian cinema. Whilst viewing the commercialism critique, they were unable to connect its power through its frantic style and action set-pieces to be influenced by other films possessing a modicum of substance such as “Crank” or “The Fast and the Furious.” While the intention of the creating of light-feeling entertainment may be consistent with Belgian cinema, some viewers love it whilst others feel that there are excessive alterations to controversial imagery.
Conclusion
In radians less measured and stylistically restrained both, “Hazard” leaves a lasting impression in the less remarked contemporary film from the region cut. Shot cut-up, thick vapour clouds create visuals full of charm, while humor comes across as darkly mean. It leaves real-time footage and live action behind those that followed Dimitri ‘Vegas’ Thivaios, his Julian position provides an ironic contrast, making his performance another touch of madness. For a film like ‘Hazard’ even some rudimentary action styles are buried within more range definitions which follow may suffice on a surface level but appeal to some.
