Synopsis
The protagonist of the story is Jillian who is conflicted between her Pagan Asatru background and the beliefs of the Church. A Norse god who existed centuries ago and is known as The Shadow in this century and Ivar in the ancient times is determined to repay his debts using Jillian’s soul as the precious offering to The Old One. In order to do this, the god influences the priest and forces him to acquire Jillian’s soul. Intrigues with these dark forces, Jillian gets to know about them and make efforts to confront the obscure essence even when her allies betray her. There is a spirit guardian who goes by the name of Vord who is determined to bring both Jillian and the possessed priest to the right path.
